How much cost to heat your INDUSTRIAL BUILDING/SHOP?

Determine the minimum winter outdoor temperature in your area, look at the outdoor temperature column: -5ºC; -3ºC; 0ºC and + 5ºC.

If you want to calculate the consumption you will have in the coldest month, determine the hours that you usually have heating, for example if you turn on the heating from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. It gives us a time of 8 hours a day, if you multiply 8 by the power of the equipment it will give you the consumption in kW of the coldest days, multiplying this consumption by 30 days will have the expense of the coldest month. To further refine the calculation multiply the consumption of the month by 0.70 to make a more real calculation of the kW consumed during that month and as you will have the price of the kWh on your receipt multiply the kWh of the month by that price and you will have the cost of the coldest 3 months and the other three months the cost will be approximately 50%.

When you compare the cost of the entire heating season with the cost you currently have you will see that consumption is reduced by more than 50% and you will also have better service and more security.

I want to give an example of a heating and hot water installation in a 170m2 house with 2.6m ceilings in the Sierra de Madrid, with temperatures of -5ºC and an 8-hour daily heating program, the annual cost of diesel was € 2100 plus € 200 maintenance costs, the cost they currently have for 6 months of heating is about € 750.

I specify that the electric boiler must be of the ete brand because it is common when calculating electric boilers of other brands to install 30 kW electric boilers to heat the same surface.
